Sport administration work!

My sport administration work first started in the FIS (International Ski Federation) when I was elected the chairperson for the FIS athletes commission for four years before ending my active skiing career, 2002. Then I had the pleasure to get the trust of all the athletes at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics when they elected me to represent them for eight years within the International Olympic Committee (IOC). I was able to follow the work of the IOC until the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver (2010). I was present in many other commissions than the athletes commission; "Sport and Environment commission", "Ethics Commission", "2010 Evaluation Commission", "2010 Coordination Commission", "2012 Youth Olympic Games evaluation commission" (chairperson), ""2012 Youth Olympic Games coordination commission", "Nomination commission". I have worked for a candidate city for the winter olympic games 2018, "Annecy2018", during one year (2010-2011). I was one of two vice presidents in the organization and travelled around the world to promote this French candidature. The winner was South Korea, with Pyong Chang, at the decision in Durban (South Africa) in July 2011. I wish them all the best. With the International Ski Federation, FIS, I am involved in a working group which is looking at the material development in alpine skiing and safety. Other members of that group is; Kjetil Andre Aamodt NOR, Marco Buechel LIE, Toni Giger AUT and Karl Freshner SUI. I have also been appointed to the "World Olympian Association", by the president of that organization Mr Joel Bouzou, to be in the board for four years (2011-2015).
